Philanthropy

Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.

We remain dedicated to three aspects of philanthropy: sisters helping sisters through Tri Delta’s Foundation, our commitment to changing the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer through our work with local and regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer initiatives and through our national partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A message from our director of philanthropy, Isabella

"At UNC Tri Delta, philanthropy is at the heart of everything we do. In 2024, we were honored to be recognized as the Top Fundraising Chapter for St. Jude—a testament to our chapter’s unwavering commitment to supporting children and families fighting childhood cancer. Through our signature events, including Frats at Bat, Sincerely Yours, and $30K in a Day, we proudly raised $92,171 for St. Jude last year. But our impact extends beyond fundraising; we believe in strengthening our local community as well. Each fall, we co-host the BBQ Cook-Off with Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity (Phi Gam) to raise funds for the Chapel Hill Fire Department. In the spring, we host Delta House of Pancakes (DHOP) to support the UNC Children’s Hospital. Additionally, we’re incredibly proud to have won Greek Groove 2024, the Panhellenic dance competition benefiting the UNC Eating Disorders Program—further demonstrating our dedication to philanthropy and service. As Director of Philanthropy, I’ve seen firsthand the passion and dedication that each member of our chapter brings to these efforts. It’s inspiring to witness the way our chapter comes together to make a difference. Our success is a reflection of every sister’s hard work, and I can’t wait to see how we continue to grow and give back in the years to come!"
